Analysis of Thermal Environmental in Buildings with Water and Landscape Elements as Microclimate Modifiers in Hot and Humid Tropical Climates

Abstract Thermal conditions in buildings are influenced by climatic and determined the thermal performance of building itself. The condition is caused transfer heat flow between environment building. This study aims to analyze value temperature, humidity, solar radiation, wind speed with presence water element as a modifier microclimate well comfort for adaptation visitor behavior. research focus on sensation public objects. Field based ASHRAE 55 2020 ISO 7730 standards. Four environmental parameters were measured, namely air velocity. Data obtained through field measurements using quantitative methods analysis Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) index, Percentage Dissatisfied (PPD), Standard Effective Temperature (SET). data processed statistical approach then simulated 2-dimensional numerical Comfort Tool (CBE) software after which it compared index. PMV, PPD, SET generated refer 55-2020 standard. Meanwhile, behavioral was analyzed results questionnaire answers vote (TSV). show that context building, landscape elements important potentials can provide positive values, improve quality, maintain stability at scale regional need be controlled taken action. adaptive such setting ventilation systems passive cooling effect buildings.
